New AI tools this October: Grok, Meta and the creative workflows to test
By PlastiiQue · Published 25 October 2026
Seven October announcements across Grok, Meta, Google and Suno, with official dates, practical creative uses and review ideas.

New releases and useful updates
This month’s announcements cover several different jobs: spoken interaction, agent-driven work, community management, playable prototypes, media search and audio production. Pick the category that matches the problem you need to solve.
A practical creative workflow
- Choose a deliverable and write a short brief.
- Check the official announcement, current access and applicable plan terms.
- Test a small sample and retain the prompt, settings and output.
- Judge the result for your audience, then decide whether the tool belongs in your workflow.
An announcement is the beginning of a review
Vendor claims and hands-on results answer different questions. The release dates and features here come from official announcements; the suggested tests are editorial ideas. Check regional access, current pricing, export options and usage terms before committing to a client project.
Checked on 25 October 2026. This is a dated editorial selection of announcements from 1–25 October, not an exhaustive directory or a popularity ranking. Practical test ideas below are PlastiiQue’s suggestions, not claims that we have already benchmarked the tools.

|---|---|---|---|
| Grok Voice 3.0 | 14 October | New speech-to-speech model | An interactive creative briefing |
| Meta Muse Wonder / Wonder Full | 12 October | New models for agentic tasks | A brief-to-prototype workflow |
| Meta Forum admin tools | 23 October | AI drafting and moderation updates | Planning a creator community |

| EmbeddingGemma 2 | 6 October | Multimodal search model | Finding material in a media archive |
| Suno Speech beta | 1 October | Speech and soundtrack generation | A narrated teaser |

Grok: a voice release worth separating from Imagine
Grok Voice 3.0 was announced on 14 October and is available through the speech-to-speech API. The release focuses on spoken interaction. It is distinct from Grok Imagine’s image and video tools; this announcement does not establish a new October Imagine model.
Our proposed test: speak a short creative brief, interrupt to change one requirement, and check whether the final brief preserves the important details. Assess the conversation and the resulting instructions separately.

Meta: Muse Wonder and Wonder Full
Meta announced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on 12 October for personal and professional agentic work. Meta says Wonder is available through the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers. Its announcement discusses memory, sustained task execution and coding.
Our proposed test: take a one-page creative brief through an outline, asset list and small interactive prototype. Check the output and the access requirements directly. These are agent models, so this release should not be presented as a new video generator.

Meta Forum: support for a creator’s community
Meta’s 23 October Forum announcement describes AI-assisted post drafting, checks against group rules and a shared content calendar for admin teams. The page says Forum is available in the US on iOS and Android.
Our proposed test: plan a small series of community posts around a film release, then review every draft before publication. This is a community-management update rather than an image or music-generation launch.

Google Playground: a story idea you can play
Google introduced Playground on 7 October as an experimental platform for creating, playing and sharing games through text prompts. Its announcement describes a conversational workflow for changing rules, characters and environments.
Our proposed test: turn a short film’s setting into a tiny playable scene. Give the player one goal and one decision, then see whether the experience communicates the story without an explanation.

EmbeddingGemma 2: help finding the right asset
Announced on 6 October, EmbeddingGemma 2 maps text, images, audio and video into a shared representation for search. Google describes it as an open model suitable for on-device use. This is a developer component, so it needs integration into a search workflow.
Our proposed test: search a small, organised media archive using descriptions such as “rainy street at night” or a spoken note. Measure retrieval quality and the work needed to build the search, rather than treating it as a ready-made editing app.

Suno Speech beta: spoken words with a musical bed
Suno announced Speech beta on 1 October. The release describes generating speech and its soundtrack together, with access on web and mobile.
Our proposed test: make a short story teaser with a clear spoken message and restrained music. Listen for intelligibility, pronunciation, timing and whether the soundtrack supports the words.

Suno Studio: useful work after the generation
The 8 October Studio update adds improved downbeat detection, clip time-stretching, adjustable fade curves and pop-out windows. Suno says Studio is included with its Premier subscription.
Our proposed test: align a vocal clip, adjust its timing and shape a transition in an existing demo. Compare the edit with the original and listen for artifacts. This is an update to an established production workspace.

Three reviews we would make next
- Grok versus Meta for a real creative brief. Use the same project goal, record the actual tools and access, and judge the usable output.
- Can Suno Speech carry a story teaser? Test the balance between spoken performance and music.
- From film idea to playable scene. Use Playground for one small scene and show the revisions needed to make it work.
These are proposed reviews. Feature announcements are useful leads; a finished review needs an actual test, the output on screen and a clear account of the settings used.
